School to Watch
La Joya Middle School has been selected as one of Schools to Watch by the National Forum. This program identifies model middle-grade schools that are academically engaging, developmentally responsive, socially equitable, and have a culture of collaborative leadership. It focuses on school improvement efforts characterized by a continuous trajectory toward success.
The California Schools to Watch program is led by the California League of Educators and supported by the California Department of Education.
